I'm just starting my Couch Surf career, so fare I have travelled usually with friends or in the company of my hammock, but now I decided to follow my way not waiting for anyone. In the second half of 2019 I have been studying in Estonia as an Erasmus student, and I couldn't realize most of my travel plans, so there are enough to do in 2020! Currently I live in Tartu (Estonia), and go to the Tartu University, but I promised to myself to explore the surrounding areas as much as possible, since I have this amazing opportunity to spend a year in the Baltic's.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm trying to widen my understanding about the world by meeting new people, visiting new places, understand different lives. I'm an irremediable curious person about most of the things around me, doesn't matter whether they are odd things, social phenomena or new cultural experiences.

Interests

I regard myself as a social scientist, I have been studying Sociology and Anthropology and now I'm doing my master in Regional and Environmental Economics. Thus I'm really interested in social problems, social structures, cultures and politics.

I’m particularly interested in post socialist cities and urban sociology (gentrification, urban rehabilitation, urban hausing patterns).

As a social scientist I’m also interested in politics and political culture, when I go to a new place I like to know what people think about politics and what is the importance of it in their life.

Out of my “professional” interests I’m a fun of nature. Hiking is one of my favourite free time activity. I really like the cities, especially huge, vivid and pulsating cities, but I honestly believe that not possible to live in them without occasional unplugs, when you can leave behind the noises and pulsation of the city.

Music, Movies, and Books

My teenage years big favorite is muse, but I listen many types of music. I really like retro music (such like Abba, Bonnie Tylor, Belinda Carlisle, Rick Astley, Ricky Martin), and I listen classical music (Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Brahmas) and jazz (New Jazz From Finnland, Shara Chaksad) too. I also listen electronic music (Christian Löffler, ) deep house (Coccolino Deep), and film themes (Hans Zimmer, Yann Tirsen).

First thing come to my mind that a few years ago I have saved group of little cats a who were thrown into the thrash bin.
