Our little town is well known in the cycling world, several major cycling races have their arrival or transit. In the middle of the beautiful hilly nature you find the famous ' Muur ( wall) of Geraardsbergen ', which is very popular with cycling races and for cycling tourists. I live in the centre of the city and close to the train station and the river Dender which flows through the green rolling countryside. The towpath for walkers and cyclists offers beautiful views.
