CURRENT MISSION:

Travelling across Southamerica alone during summer 2018 with no real plan except from improving my shaky spanish. I'd like to get in touch with people to spend time with and just go through some unexpected experiences.
I am also planning to spend a week or two doing some voluntary work if I end up in a place I like, and maybe I could find good opportunities through couchsurfing?

ABOUT ME

I was born in Milano, the city of fashion, aperitivo and risotto. I then moved to Egypt at the age of 2 (but did not learn any Arabic!) and lived in several Italian and Swedish cities.
It is pretty hard for me to stay at home so you will more likely find me going for a daytrip, skiing, sailing or just spending time with friends.
I enjoy conveying feelings and ideas through food, so you can expect me to cook something for you if you host me :)

Right now I just finished my Masters studies in Industrial engineering and heading off for some vagabonding in South America for some weeks.

MY EXPERIENCE ON CS:

Recently came back to Stockholm from Southeast Asia backpacking, and learnt more about CS from other travellers. Ever since, I gave Couchsurfing a few shots as a host and always had fun times!

25-29 MARCH: LOUIS: a great guy from Paris with some work experience in Japan - he stayed at mine for 4 nights and even had a little present for me before leaving.
11-14 APRIL: BASSAM: had a good time with this dude from Morocco! He evne bought pizzas for us one night :)

Música, películas y libros

Recently read Into the Wild and will try to go through my South American trip with a similar spirit (maybe not as extreme though haha). My goal in general is to read as much as possible, I guess it's the best tool I have to open my mind together with meditation - which I try to practice daily.
When it comes to films and TV series, I might not be your best ally. I seem to be very unlucky everytime I go to the cinema (strikes, blackouts... you name it).

Hmmm so many... here's a taster :)
I skydived! And flew a glider! Saw the northern lights! Skied down the side of Mont Blanc! Swam with sea turtles! Flew in a hot air balloon! Lived on a sail ship! Rowed in Venice’s Canal Grande!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Fuel me with a few beers or glasses of wine, and I can tell you some stories about the places I've lived in: Milan, Cairo - Egypt, Venice, Parma (ahhh the prosciutto! And the parmigiano!), Stockholm and Lapland.
Living in Scandinavia for the past couple of years has really opened up my mind and made me a more conscious person in many ways - I like combining this perspective with my Italian roots.
