Since the pandemic situation did not calm down yet, I would like to host only fully vaccinated persons for now - since I work almost every day with kids, the risk is quite high to be a spreader as well, even though I have full protection. I am sharing this with you, since people asked for a couch but where from the beginning on very unclear about their current status, so I asked them about it, got wild conspiracy theories as answer and became in their mind an unfriendly facist. (check my references)

So if you are in the opinion that corona is a lie and believing in Putin and Trump are bringing peace is stronger than any vaccination, I am not sorry but happy to tell you, that I won’t be your host in Leipzig.

I'm Rob, 26 years old & maybe you know me already from hosting you 16/17 in Leipzig haha. It's my second time living in wild-east L.E., for many reasons - nowhere else I felt more accepted being the human I actually am. Nowhere else people are welcoming you with that amount of unconditional love. Spending some time in Berlin and living and working a whole year in Chennai, India, it was Leipzigs "home-feeling", its growing culture of beautiful individuals and variety of experimental music which brought me back here.

So tell me about you, your story, what excites you, show me all your favorite dishes, teach me some russian, bring a little piece of world to me, since I am rarely traveling longer than a week, it’s an all time pleasure inviting the journey of someone to my home :-)

I do my own music-project called „Natasha“ - it’s dancy dark-wave pop music, I am sure there will be a chance to join me for a show if you are visiting on weekends :) If I am not playing my synths, I do this thing called „part time job“ in a lovely kindergarten here in Leipzig, that means if am not on holiday-leave, we only can hang out in the afternoon.

it's a lovely uncommercial way of tourism. Not just having a look, feel how the place you visit is vibing!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I am open minded for nearly every genre of music, but Techno, Dark-Wave, Stoner Rock/Doom/Psychedelic, or 60´s music I prefere the most. Also a big fan of heavy and more extrem stuff.

Movies - Darjeeling Limited, Baader-Meinhof Komplex, Kammerflimmern - but honestly, I stopped watching movies or series - there is other stuff to do!

Books - paul watzlawick, szabo, political, social and psychological stuff, one of my favorite ones so far - the school of Summerhill (it’s about a democratic school „without any rules“)

What I Can Share with Hosts

take it easy, there‘s not much you can do wrong

join me to hang out with my friends in the beautiful woods, abandoned industries and parks of Leipzig

if you corona restrictions will allow, we can also go to a rave or party, just meet people, visit some cool cafes or just having döner on some pavement

… but if you want to explore the city just by yourself, go for it! :-) this is your journey and everyone has an individual perception of how to spend time while traveling.
