About Me

Journalist | Traveler | Logophile

I am the epitome of workaholism and inquisitiveness, often thinking of how I can free up more time to work or become stressed if I am proscribed from working, and how I badly want to make visible what, without me, might perhaps never have been seen.
I hate living indoors. I realized this very early in my life whatever I am going to do in my life, it must be related to traveling. I am so passionate about traveling that if given a chance, I would be just as happy living outdoors.
And, languages enthrall me, because nothing makes a language richer than its people traveling around the world and then writing about it.
Though I am voluble in Hindi and English, only.
My first internship country was Russia. During my internship, I fell in love with people and this scintillation led me believe that it's all about people. And the punchline: "It's a people world".
I am an Aiesecer. (:

I am rebellious in nature. I hate superstitions but in one way or other, we all are superstitions. For e.g. I tell you about myself, whenever I am out for grocery shopping, I go with the second row items instead of those which are kept at the front, or I always wash my toothbrush thrice before brushing.

Okay, so thank you for reading this!

Music, Movies, and Books

Coldplay!
Harry Potter! Of course , books!
I like good movies, depends on the kind of philosophy I have in my life at that time in my life. I am more of philosophical person who likes OSHO and Friedrich Nietzsche .

Movies: Works of Steven Spielberg and Alfred Hitchcock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The decision of going for an internship abroad when I was having no hopes to actually make my this dream come true; when parents and siblings were afraid enough to not let their 19-year-old daughter go alone in a foreign country, I actually did everything alone and on my own; can't tell you how strong and empathetic as a soul, as a person I came out and this is something I am really proud of.
When you walk 12kms. on a foreign but friendly land, then you find some place to stay by the help of selfless locals and they offer you a bowl of food and a cup of tea, you realize that all you need is a roof over your head, a plate of food and a cup of tea in your hands, and someone to have a meaningful conversation with, and that my friend is the best thing that can happen in anyone's life.

Teach, Learn, Share

A dreamer I am! A spring dreamer where all is possibility. ^_^

What I Can Share with Hosts

The diversity that we have in india, that makes us tick is something I am really proud of. More talks. Less stress. Juxtaposition of Indian and other cultures. It's fun to actually experience what one person could do.
