Overview
About Me
open-minded, (sometimes too) thoughtful but also spontaneous, non-competitive, active, adventurous, clumsy, sensitive, humorous, pragmatic, honest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because for me, the best way to experience a country's culture, it's way of thinking and living is staying with locals, talk to them, learn from them and making friends with them. Nothing else makes me feel home and welcomed that much in a foreign surrounding.
And, as I have done exactly this (staying with locals abroad via WWOOFing), I am looking forward to enable travellers who come to Germany to share their experience with me also (once my room is big enough for having guests).

Music, Movies, and Books
"Tuesdays with Morrie" from Mitch Albom is definitely one of my favorite books. It's a very touching story and the film adaption is also great!
There are a couple of movies I really like, e.g. The Intern, Life as we know it, Mamma Mia (I don't know if that's only because my Mom absolutely adores ABBA, haha) or Take the lead, and some classics like The Intouchables, It's a wonderful life and Titanic.
Same thing with music. I'm a pretty flexible music listener. When I'm attending my Zumba classes I enjoy moving to Latin-American music (Cumbia, Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, ..), going out in the weekends I like dancing to House, 90's music, Black, R'n'B. And I also love Indie-Rock and German music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living for nearly two weeks in a very remote valley in New Zealand (no neighbours), without internet and phone connection only with a mid-forty year old Kiwi, his dog, his 4 horses and his massive vegetable garden and orchad - and I had the best times!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
(Theodore Roosevelt)
People will forget what you said
People will forget what you did
But people will never forget how you made them feel
(Maya Angelou)
What I Can Share with Hosts
my curiosity, positivity, intercultural experiences abroad and in Germany, passion for nature and food, sense of humour
And I like exchanging ideas about how to achieve a sustainable, healthy, equitable, peaceful living together of all people in the world (pretty idealistic, I know).
