About Me

I'm a portuguese senior medicine student, based in Lisbon, and currently travelling in Brazil.
I lived and studied in Milan, Italy last year for 6 months and since then I realized that the things I remember and miss the most are the people I met and the friends I made.
I love to eat and trying typical food of the places I meet and I'm also a very curious person about the history and traditions of a place and their people. I'm an easy laughing girl and also, so I want to believe, a good vibe one!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People are probably one of my biggest interests and couchsurfing seemed a good way of meeting new cultures and share experiences. The more I travel, the more I realize how greater and amazing it is to live the places with their people.

I'm going to travel one more month in Bolivia, Chile and Peru with a friend and I hope to leave this continent with the desire of coming back.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a favourite band or musician but I love bossa nova, Latin music and 80's rock. I have many favourite writers, but for now I'm reading Mia Couto and Miguel Sousa Tavares.
Woody Allen is one of my favourite directors and I've watched almost all of his movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking twice the Southwest coast of Portugal (called Alentejo) with only a backpack and a bunch of friends;
Living with a portuguese gypsy community for 3 weeks;
Volunteer mission in São Tomé e Príncipe for almost 2 months.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that knowledge is always welcome, so I'm looking forward to learn what the people who host me have to teach and share. That is what amazes me the most, meet new and, specially, different ways of living and experiencing the world. I love hearing about the history and traditions about a country, and to discover their cities with who actually lives there!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My very little experience on this big big world!
