My name is Peteris, but I usually go by Pete for easier pronunciation. :) I am lucky to do what i have been wanting to do since my childhood which is being a chef. I am from Latvia, but currently (since 2013) I live in Scotland. I share a flat with my twin sister Marta and her boyfriend Joao who are well seasoned couchsurfers. :D
My hobbies are cooking, sports (Ice hockey, basketball), painting and playing piano (still learning tho).
My moto is to try to find humour in everything, everything has a funny side. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was quickly pulled into couchsurfing by my sister and her boyfriend. My first experiences were through the meetings they occasionally had and the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that came with it. I met a number of amazing people from all around the world which each had a completely different story and couchsurfing was the thing that we all shared.

After being to a few meetings, me, my sister and her boyfriend decided we could host people as well. We have hosted a few people already. The trust and friendship you can build with who are strangers at start but then friends is why i will never look back.

I will definitely try to couchsurf on my future travells as well.
