About Me

Until a year ago I never thought about Hitch Hicking or Couchsurfing or half of the things I have experienced since I left Portugal in March. But it's never too late to change your goals and aspirations.

Since then, pretty much everything has changed. I like change, though. When stepping my foot off the limits of a town, I immediately have a feeling of newness that makes me feel alive. It's this feeling that I hope to keep bearing in mind throughout my life.

I'm quite, but I'm not anti-social! Might just seen a bit like that, but I'm a bit shy at first. I keep it to myself and I'm not very dependant on my Host. I love coffee in the morning, but I can live without it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Of course, sometimes it's only possible to spend one or two nights with a host. But I believe the point of couch surfing is the opposite of finding just a place to crash. It's more to find a person to spend time with.

There's no better way to know someone than to be hosted in their place. I suppose that when you find yourself in the position of a host, you are more willing of sharing, communicating or spending time with someone else.

I like meeting locals and have a different insight on the country, other than touristic places to visit. Also, it can get a bit boring when you find yourself alone in a strange place =)

I created this profile hopping to enrich my travels with exchange and human connections. Isn't that the point of traveling?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can say that I love my job, and never did it just for money. Beeing a teacher to a child, is propably the most relevant one can ever do;
I had quite some adventures in the roads of Portugal with only a bike and a tent;

And more I gess. Sometimes, we do amazing stuff and don't even realize it, or see the results. Small gestures make big differences =)

Teach, Learn, Share

Portuguese language, of course! I play guitar, and probably will have one with me if we meet =) I like outdoors, so long walks or bike rides, if possible, are guaranteed! I like good talks, good evening programs, movies, etc. I like cooking, aswell, so I'd be very happy to prepare smtg nice.

I'm very opened and very simple. =) I pretty much get along with everyone.
