The best way of knowing a culture and a place is knowing the locals. I enjoy meeting people who has experiences and thoughts to share. I've already couch-surfed and it was great, usually the hosts are very open minded people, who are very interested in other cultures, thoughts and other people's experiences. I love to be able to share what my culture and experiences had thought me, i also enjoy learning from other people's point of view. I see couch surfing as a way of personal growing. Couchsurfing is also a perfect opportunity to expand the social network.
