Overview
About Me
My name is César Romero, from Colombia. To me travel means to have the opportunity to get to know architecture, cultures, music and landscapes, but most important to me: people and the chance to capture the essence of those amazing things with my camera.
If we meet, I'd gladly share with you my culture, the traditions of my country, but also the positive and negative stories and realities of Colombia and all the experiences I've got during my job as conflict journalism.
As a latino I can dance well enough, not being a professional dancer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling is always fun and meeting people from the places you visit is always an enrichment experience.
Besides of this, sharing, collaborating and making solidarity networks is very important thing I believe in and support.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting remote areas full of amazing landscapes where most of the people can not go because of the civil war. My last visit took place in the south of Colombia (In the Andes mountains), where I shared with the indigenous organized resistance and got to know their cultures.
Two years ago I fulfilled my dream of being at The Football World Cup in Brazil supporting the colombian team.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a professional photographer I can teach you how to get the best of your camera to take very good pictures.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would make nice portraits of you and give them to you as a gift. We can make postals together. I also can cook some colombian food for you. I can teach a little salsa dancing!
