About Me

🙏 Take the most of what life offers.
Don’t try to fight the flow and just live in present.
These are the only rules I live by and this is how I’m satisfied with every moment of my life.
My main present mission is to find the freedom inside, by freeing my mind with peace, freeing my body through movement, and freeing myself by traveling.
I’ve dedicated my life to art, I was studying photography and media art in Lithuania, but the borders of institutional art made me break-through and start wondering around the world. In past few years I've been travelling, experimenting with different sorts of visual arts, making installations for festivals, creating visuals for sound artists and looking for new opportunities.
Now I came back home and started working with light (in different ways) and improving skills on body movement. My main wish is to get inspired and let art happen instead of making it.
Also, one of the most important things to mention is that I'm a tea-addict. And there’s no joke, I can't do much or go far without tea.
I value every experience I get and every person I meet in my life, so if the life will turn so that we meet, be sure that I will do my best to be a good company :))
And for the “cherry on the cake” here’s my favourite quote: "Art is our only salvation from the horror of existence"

Bless me Pachamama, I'm coming home🌈🎶

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

. To be honest, the main reason why I started couchsurfing was that I wanted to travel, but had no money. Now, when I can afford a hotel I still choose couchsurfing because for me it's one of the best parts of traveling. You meet new, totally random, extremely generous people who open their doors for a stranger. So if you host me I would really appreciate that and could assure you to be very polite and respectful to you and your home :))

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste is very various and controversial when it comes to music:

space rock, doom metal
Dark/ black/ folk/ post -metal

Reggae, dub, chill vibes ^.^
//
Indi, atmospheric
//
//

Some favourite bands:
The Doors, Stoned Jesus, Future Islands, Thieves Like Us, Wardruna, Karg, Soley...

Books:
Carlos Castaneda all of the books, A. Camus, M. Foucault...

Movies:
Enter the Void, The fight club, Star Wars ofc, Clockwork orange, Mood indigo, Amelie, Pulp fiction, old documentaries about music and art.
I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter and magic :DD

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's some:
Traveled in Iran for a month with no money.
I've used a kids swimming-pool as a canoe and sailed in the river, running in the center of Vilnius.
I somehow got in a situation where a neo-nazi was chasing me in a forest with a will to kill. If you will host me, I promise to tell you the full story and more about the times when I didn't get killed by an accident. Oh, and I hope the stay at your place won't go to that list... :))))

Teach, Learn, Share

I play jews harp, and I always have it by my side, so I could teach you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

1. I can cook you anything you want. From Lithuanian cousine to anything with or without the recipe.
2. I can tell you a lot of cool stories.
3. I can tell you a lot about my country.
4. Kindness and good vibes.
5. If you tell me what you like maybe I can bring you something Lithuanian :))
