Hi, my name is Tomek!

I'm 20 years old and right now I took a gap-year to travel and get to know myself & the world better.

My passion is music.
I play the guitar in a band ( google Kava if you want to check it out, a black & white round logo ), and I want to play the guitar in the streets of European cities.

As a kid I used to adore Ancient Egypt, archeology and astronomy. I still love to read about it, but now I'd rather focus on getting better at my playing. I want to be a professional guitarist and a music producer.

I've been learning English for about half my life, and I want to learn more languages, like Spanish, Italian and French :)

I want to constantly progress as a human being and as a musician.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now, since I've graduated from high school, I want to travel around Europe.

My first goal is Amsterdam (August). Then I'm going to visit Scotland (September), go back to Poland and head towards Spain and Italy!
I've already been to these countries, but rather as a typical tourist. From now on I really want to immerse in those places!

There are several reasons why I'm on Couchsurfing:

First of all, I simply can not afford acommodation. I spend all my money on my guitar rig (guitars, amplifiers, cables, guitar cases etc.)

I want to meet local people, talk to them, get to know themselves and their stories, culture and interesting things about their cities.

I want to busk on the streets. I don't know where I can play the guitar and I don't want to do it against the law. I bet local people know where this is allowed and where I won't irritate the citizens with my playing :)

I dove into a wading pool and broke my teeth, but nothing dangerous happened ;)

But seriously:
as a child, my sister brought me to a fashion show. I was like 5 years old and had no idea what to do! It was a complete disaster, but I think people thought it was cute :D
