About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I didn't travel much before, but since I'm finally in Europe, I would like to meet local Europeans and welcome them at my place.
Interests
I love music, I like to do karaoke with my friends. I bought a piano almost 2 years ago (May 2017), although I don't have much time to learn and to play but still I really love it.
I'm as well a big fan of cinema. I like the intense movies with clever entertainment elements, also in love with fantasy and magic. The tops my list would be the classic Shawshank Redemption, The Lord of The Rings triology, Inception, Pan's Labyrinth, King's Speech, The Perks of Being A Wallflower, and A Single Man... Oh well, the list could probably go on forever.
And of course, as a couchsurfer, I also love travelling. I have just discovered that France somehow has a strong connection with my soul, I'm always happy to visit such beautiful country. Before coming to Europe, I thought I would travel to all the European countries like most people I know did, but so far I have spent every vacation in France, been there 4 times in less than 2 years and I' m not sure if I would ever move on to the next country (though I know that I really want to visit Germany and UK) . Haha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think I'd love to share more than 1 thing if you don't mind:
- 6 months travelling around Vietnam on bicycle.
- Dicided to spend few "homeless nights" in Paris and actually made it happen in June 2017 for 2 nights.
- On my 31st birthday, I asked a friend to come and to cross a frozen lake with me for the first time (I was scared of doing it alone). It's probably not really an extraordinary thing for most people, esp. the Finns, but for me it was so unreal, felt like I was living in another reality.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm quite a decent cook when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine. I used to be a tour guide, so I'm happy to share history and myths in Southern Vietnam as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Small souvenirs from Finland and if we have time and if you don't mind strong spices smells I'd supremely love to cook some Vietnamese dishes for you.
Countries I’ve Lived In
