I’m a 27 year old Irish guy. I’m hoping to meet adventurous, like minded people!

A few years ago I lived in Kenya for a couple months on a student placement and found couchsurfing a great way to meet people. I’m always up for a hike and I’m pretty keen on sports generally!

I work as a doctor (in gastroenterology) and currently living in Galway, a city in the West of Ireland. Since starting work it’s been a lot more difficult to get away on long trips but I try to take any chance I get to explore somewhere new!

I first used it with my friend and seen the benefit of a site like this where you actually get to see different places like a local and get more of an authentic travel experience which is what I’m after.

I lived in Kenya for a month and found it really helpful for meeting people as a solo traveler. Hopefully I will be in a position to host more soon too.
