I'm a girl with a big love for France, and decided I wanted to explore the overseas region of France this summer. I love hiking, playing the piano, swimming and freestyle kayaking.

I've been on Reunion Island for five weeks already, and will leave Mauritius to stay on Reunion for another 3 days. For the 29th and 30th I'm looking for people to either climb Piton des Neiges or visit the thermobassins de Cilaos with!! Hit me up, folks :)

I would love to meet kind hearted travel companions that love these islands just as much as I do, and want to visit beaches, explore hiking trails and discover the cascades together!
I'm travelling on a fairly small budget, so I'm looking for couchsurfing hosts, preferably the adventurous type who'd like to tell me all about the nature on these islands.

Interessen

Nature - the main reason I started travelling is because I love nature. The Netherlands is a beautiful country, but we don't have mountains, so I leave at least once a year to visit the mountains.

Medicine - next year I'm going to study medicine and I CAN'T WAIT.

Poetry - Used to participate in poetry contests, and my bedroom wall is full of poems that mean a lot to me.

Art - I make art. From pencil sketches to graffiti, from photo collages to installations. Probably the weirdest thing I made was a clay alien fetus in a test tube, with a gas mask from the first world war attached to a moss planet with mutated dinosaur toys.

Acting - went to acting school and te Dutch may or may not have seen me on tv haha

Languages - I love to learn new languages. I'm currently learning Icelandic though I still suck at it.

Psychiatry & neuroscience - I'm endlessly mesmerized by the human brain. I read a lot about these subjects an hope one day I'll be a psychiatrist.

Also I'm always observing people, but don't worry, usually it's just me noticing and thinking about little quirks that I like about you.

I have made somersaults with a freestyle kayak in whitewater.
And the two day hike in Mafate.. it really changed my soul.
Edit: jumped from the Tamarin Falls on Mauritius!!
