I'm in Sweden now until February, 2017.

Hello :) My name is Jieun Kim.
I am Korean and 23 years old.
I'm now university student. I'm majoring in Public Health and Management in Korea University.
I'm very energetic person and active.
I like hanging around with people, meeting new people and sharing our thoughts or ideas.
I also like sightseeing, taking pictures and exchanging many cultural differences and thoughts ! :)
I really like traveling and have been to several countries, ex, US, China, Japan, Laos, some of east and west Europe, Taiwan, Hongkong ...!
I'm planned to go Sweden, Linnaeus University as exchange student this Autumn. What this mean is that I will stay in Europe for about 6 months and I wish I have great opportunity to meet you from couchsurfing :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and share our thoughts !

-> I assume that environmental things, surroundings, growth backgrounds, what do you experience or see take big part in forming one's thoughts(how you see the things). As I have been living in Korea, I want to know about how other people from different countries think ! It would be great opportunity to broaden our views and know what we had never experienced or thought about :) Also, I really do want to share my ideas, too :)

In addition, I want to find what I really want to do. I'm not sure what I would choose for my job. I think sharing many thoughts and experiences would be helpful. Also, my major is Public Health and Management and this is one of the reasons why I'm very interested in Europe. Europe has fairly well organized welfare system. Even though it's very different from Korea's but knowing about vivid experiences you had concerning to welfare system would deepen the understandings. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like every songs, ballad, classic, hiphop, k-pop and so on except for heavy metal.

I like watching movies. I like the messages that the movie delivers.
My favorite movie is "Gloomy Sunday" that I recently watched.
I love the wonderful scenery in Budapest and the mouth-watering food.
I was totally impressed about how they love, their attitude toward the love. They cared one another sincerely.

I like reading books. I like "Hector and the Search for Happiness"
This is about the happiness, one of the important values.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most thrilling thing is that I bought the plane ticket to Hungary and Czech. This is the first time that I travel abroad alone.
I really wanted to, but eventually now, I seized the opportunity to travel alone.
Eating alone in restaurants, traveling alone, planning all by myself and meeting new people and traveling together, living like a local fully would be great :)!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach real life in Korea concerning with education system, food, culture, language and so on.

What I like to learn and share is the same with the things I could teach you. I want to learn the real life in specific country you live in. It's very fortunate opportunity to do couchsurfing because we could learn the real life in each other's countries. The book or internet couldn't tell as real as the vivid experience one actually underwent.
