Title: English workshops and outdoor activities for kids and kid parents in Hanoi, Vietnam

We run club for kid between 3-6 and 7-12yrs, it is a Non-Profit club. I have good English as I lived overseas in Australia. I know it is like to be in a new strange country and have lots of experience working with foreigners and helping them settle in.

OUR CLUB ACTIVITIES
-We have running Club' class which introduced by English with multiple activities English Lesson, Game, Sport, Yoga, Dance, Art/Craft, Drama, Baking -Cooking,Swimming, Story Telling, Music ,Cultural Introduction, Film, Making Movie etc (twice a week for each class) for 1 hour; 1.5hour; 2 hours
- Outdoor activities on Saturday with Field Trip /Exhibition/Competion ( events) with kids/ their parent at National Park, Parks in Hanoi, etc
- Class for Language Learner ( French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, etc)
- Culture Exchange and Communities Program like Talk show with Student Age and Kid's Parent, Story telling( plus active/ creative activities which link to each story) with kid to develop the English Library in Hanoi, Cultural Introduction
- Summer Camp for kid with English, Sport, Math, Library, Personal /Emotions/Social Learning, Science with Topic , etc for FUN and HAPPY

WHO IS VOLUNTEER WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must love doing things with kids from bottom of your heart
Know how to play with kids ( all age)
Having experience for teaching kids /know skill to play and teach ( prefer)
Know/ Having experience MAKING CREATIVE PLAN for lesson , outdoor activities / event /Making photo shoot/ Movie for our activities , etc ( prefer)
Know how to management working and preparation time and Team work / Professional Attitude (prefer)
Creative person( prefer)
Active person ( prefer)
Flexible person during volunteer's working time
The person could do task as admin, program manage, teaching training , etc of Better Education Programe with us

To be prepared to volunteer and help as much as you can!

You are expected to share in any household tasks where you are living, and to generally clear up after yourself!

STAYING PERIOD: 2 week - 1.5 months

*****BENIFIT FROM CLUB will be contributed to OUR READING PROJECT (to proactively organise reading sessions for children and for teachers/parents to embed creative reading activities which is one of the best ways of developing children’s English language skills. In addition that It also increases general knowledge (both from fiction and non-fiction), a better understanding of other cultures, community participation and a greater insight into human nature and decision-making as books show you other lives, and ways of behaving. ):

To set up the Reading Rooms for Kid In Hanoi with providing story books in English (Buying New Books and Receiving Books Donation ) and Related Activities such as a story-telling

Guide to Kid's Parent arrange 1 book corner /room at Home for Kids

Reading Stories at Kindergarten School, Primary School ...

B.Type of accommodation: Home Stay you could be arranged to stay with Kid's family to enjoy Vietnamse Family Culture and Simply Life. Then , you could join our activities in daytime/ evening/weekend and other time you could have private lesson in English or play and teach kids at the Kid's Family
C.How will travellers benefit from a cultural exchange and what could they learn?
- YOU COULD DISCOVER DAILY LIFE IN HANOI with cooking, practical yoga, going to watch Film, vacation with a lot of food
- You could learn Vietnamese Food . In addition that they could learn a lot of Dish for people coud not eat Flour, Meet , Soybeen etc, then you may have Litte Vietnam Restaurent at Home
- You could learn Vietnamese to have change to communicate by them shelves
- You could learn Vietnamese Products for export to your home
- You could know how Vietnamese living
- You could learn the culture of Vietnam during meal time, food, habit,thinking, etc
-You could learn to try any Vietnamse Food to find the taste
- You could learn Vegan Food in Vietnam also

For traveling, you could learn to ride Motobike in Hanoi, it is convenient and save money :)

D.what volunteers can do with their time off, local sights and available transport etc.
This location is near bus stop and park. You could go there for practice for gym, walk.... It is convenient to travel by bus to Inner hanoi, Airport , Northern Provinces( Sapa, Halong Bay, Cat Ba Island, Tam Coc- Bich Dong etc) by Public Public Bus at My Dinh Bus Station .This area also near coffee shops.

If you would like to learn Vietnamese, We will have class for you which introduce by Kid's parents

We could arrange something special for you then you could enjoy meal , exchange culture with your kid and their parents at school or visit their home, thier family events like wedding party, dinner, etc . Then You may feel that you have a new home in Hanoi.

We also could arrange Vietnamese volunteer to support you to discover Hanoi and other place near Hanoi for you find interesting of Hanoi in Morning, Afternoon , Evening , Nightime at each coner of Hanoi by bus/ motobycle/bycle/ on foot , etc and teach you to learn Vietnamese and Vietnamese Culture. More over, You could stay in our Vietnamese volunteers to enjoy Vietnamese homestay 's enviroment. ..Then you could be fall in love with Hanoi . You could meet and share all things with other foreign volunteers here also .

In addition that ,

1-We also monthly have link activities with a Social Enterprise then you could have chance to visit minorities people who are planting herb and processing herb product etc from different provinces in North and Centre Vietnam . From the trip. you may understand Vietnamese culture, habit and have more material to teach our kids and improve your experience
2- My friend have 1 garden where kids could play , planting havest in the country side ( 30 km from hanoi), you and our kids may come there for study, playing, enjoy lovely opening environment and help them to construction, organization activities for other kids there also, etc
3- If you would like to have relax time, you could come to help and have coffee/stay/teaching to young people/kids or learn Vietnamese dish with my friend who have coffee shop near our school ( 3 km, you could go by bus or on foot). She could speak English and is nice person? ( You also could stay here and have class here with university student and kids.
4-I also could bring you go with me to see my father who stay in country side to see farms and rural life ( 40km from Hanoi to South East, we could take bus/taxi/motorbike). If you like you could stay there with my father ( doing hosework, planning tree, feed chicken, teach his internet and english :), etc) and teach English for kids also in the village ( I will try to arrange English club there with the same purpose like I did in Hanoi)
5- If you want have homestay experience, we could arrange you to stay with Kid's parent then everyday you could come to work place by bus, etc.. you could go to cinema and coffee witg kids to,

IMPORTANT FOR VISA: Pls have plan your travel in Vietnam to have Visa before you enter Vietnam. It will be save for your expense !!

For Example:

Case 1:If you get free visa for 15 days, you only have right to extension for 15 days

Case 2: If you have 1 month visa and would like to like to extension for 1 month, you have to pay to travel agent 120USD ( you could not do direct with Immigation Office)

IMPORTANT FOR WEATHER:
Hanoi which is in North of Vietnam , have 4 seasons; Spring/Summer/Autum/Winter

Winter in Hanoi.The weather is cold which is under 10 degree. Pls check the weather before you come and bring warm clothes with you and speeping bag ( if any)
