Overview
About Me
I am a 19 year old from Iceland, despite this I have also lived in Denmark and Norway. I am now studying at the University of Oklahoma.
I am really into art and photograph quite a bit myself. I also really enjoy different outdoor activities and try to spend much off my free time up in the highlands in Iceland when I am at home, hiking, camping and so on. I am also a sucker for different TV shows (such as Adventure Time, Rick and Morty and Doctor Who) and films, my favorite director being Wes Anderson.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am here too meet with new people when I travel or when they are travelling in the area where I live. I enjoy showing people around in Iceland and I would love to meet people who would like to show me around wherever I end up travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen quite a bit to alternative music, a lot of rock from the 90's, indie music, almost anything just depending on my mood at the time. I can give you some pointers for some Icelandic music if you are interested!
As I mentioned earlier Wes Anderson is my favorite director, I especially love The Grand Budapest Hotel and Moonrise Kingdom. I enjoy superhero films, fantasy and science fiction, lord of the rings, Star Wars and others being some off my favorites.
Books... Omg I read a lot and it is still never enough. Since I was very young I have loved fantasy and science fiction, my current favorites being The Gentleman Bastards series by Scott Lynch and the Discworld Series by Terry Prachett (Just started reading them though so no spoilers please!). I ahve also recently started reading more biographies and non fiction in areas that interest me, the most recent being Freakonomics and The Power of Habit.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am happy with the support I have given to refugees in both Norway and Iceland through the Red Cross and I want to continue doing similar things in the states. To me that is quite amazing even though there is always need for more help.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am full of random facts that I can share with you and I love learning new things!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook and bake some traditional Nordic dishes or some fantastic vegetarian meals (I am not fully vegetarian but I prefer it too meat when I cook).
I can teach you some Icelandic or Scandinavian and share some of our culture with you, such as random facts about the vikings.
Want a good conversation or a walk in the rain in silence? I enjoy both :)
