I'm leo an easy going french guy that like to have fun and make people laugh.
My needs are very easy and I enjoy simple things.
I'm in Japan for 8 month volunteering in Kyoto for a non profit association working in different Japanese schools. I did kind of the same in India three years ago for one year in Tamil Nadu near Pondicherry.
I always lived with many peoples, may it be roommates or a volunteer team like now when we are 8 living on the same roof, so I'm really aware about respecting other privacy and keep the place cool.
The one thing I really love is Culture, every where I go it's my holy Grail. Like every body here I'm a big fan of Japanese culture, history, movies, religion and landscape !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting the locals or someone that is used to live in a place is the most important part of the culture you're visiting and exchange is what make our self really rich. Japanese culture and people can be really hermetic if you don't speak the langage (gambatte mas !) or know the costumes and I believe in you being the bridge to discover it in a better way.
Couchsurfing is a wondeful thing that mix todays technology and ancestral hospitality.
When ever you wanna pass all the days with me or only meet me after work I'm glad, I can adapt my self to any situation, want to be helpful and have fun with you :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music from many different influences from the good French rap to deep ethnical music.

Concerning movies there is a lot to say but mainly I like strong and deep movies that make you think and reconcider your self (The grave of the fireflies, Akira or Spiderweb castle to give some Japanese examples) but of corse I also love to have fun in front of a good comedy :o)

I'm a for ever fan of Rousseau and Henry David Thoreau, Jrr Tolkien, Jack London, Salman Rushdie and Roal Dahl work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking 1700 kilometers by foot from Paris to Santiago de Compostella for two month throught all France and Spain was quite amazing :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French langage, History, Photography basics, French cooking, Baking, Hikking and Camping technics and a little bit of gardening.

Concerning Paris I can tell you anything you wanna know (history, best secret spots, cheap restaurants, cool bars, touristic places to avoid and of corse it will be my pleasure to host you there !).

My brain is basically like a sponge so : All the things you can teach me !! ;D
