Hi I'm Michaela! I was born in South Africa but have spent most of my life in Australia. I am relatively new to the travelling scene, of course I have been on a few holidays but this is my first time backpacking. I usually work in Human Resources and in May this year I quit my job to go backpacking around Central America with my best friend. This year for me is about going outside of my comfort zone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently did my first ever hike in Guatemala up Volcano Acatenango. It was the most challenging thing I have ever done mentally and physically but it was also the most amazing experience!
