About Me
I'm a grad student and a french teacher who grew up in Tahiti and living in NY. I'm very social, easy to get along with, a generous guest and a respectful host.
I lived in Tahiti, Paris, Dakar, New Orleans and now New York, so I got to learn to make new friends in a bunch of different settings and I'm swimmingly easy to get along with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I need to travel a lot for my PhD research to look at archives in a bunch of places, but I am not paid enough to do so, so I rely on you wonderful people's hospitality!
I am also always happy to help out people who need a place to crash in NYC.
Music, Movies, and Books
Any tune that will set the dance floor on fire: zouk, coupé décalé, kizumba, reggaeton, soooo gooood
Books: Fanon's The wretched of the earth, still my favorite reading
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just got married to the most wonderful woman on earth
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach french or english - that actually my job so I hope I'm okay at it ;)
