About Me

I'm a talkative and curious young man on the quest to explore this wide and vast world and meet new & interesting people on the way. I love stumbling upon new and different people, debating ideas concerning politics and social issues, art and culture, language, as well as having fun drinking some beers and playing music in the sun. I currently study Translation and Interpretation in a public university in Madrid but I am still looking for my place in the world and a role to accomplish in society.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wish to take advantage of the new techologies of communication to meet new people, share ideas, knowledge and experiences, gain access to different cultural and social scenarios and, of course, have a nice time and a good laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

I specially enjoy traditional music, wherever it comes from: whether it is Spanish flamenco music, irish and celtic music, american folk, country and blues, african music...

As to books, I prefer essays to novels, but read both. I absolutely enjoy reading the newspapers, of all types and ideologies, in different languages and from different countries, every morning, afternoon and night.

As far as movies are concerned, I must admit being no big fan of movies. I prefer documentaries but I am always open to both. I have a taste for movies and documentaries that deal with social issues or important episodes of World history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been a guitar teacher for a brief period of time in Ethiopia.

Teach, Learn, Share

Almost everything is worth teaching, learning or sharing. I'm open to everything. What kind of question is this?
