One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

No lo puedo expresar en otra lengua que no sea la mía. He visto miradas de mujeres que gritan palabras, me he conmocionado con poemas y obras de arte. He admirado el vuelo de millones de mariposas y contemplado el agua transparente de Bacalar. Me ha despeinado el aire del Océano Pacífico y del mar mediterráneo. Entre las cosas divertidas que me han sucedido es deslizarme por un tobogán en la muralla china. He aprendido de mis alumnos más de que lo esperaba y en el mundo en conclusión, he vivido –como me da la gana–.
