Overview
About Me
I'm a quantitative biology student at McGill. Have been in multiple places around Brazil, Canada and the US (lived there for about a year and a half) and explored some of the Atacama Desert/Andes in Chile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting locals and practicing the local language wherever I'm in, and being hosted by someone seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so. Also, as any broke college student, Couchsurfing makes it possible for me to travel more on a budget.
Montreal is lovely for other uni students to visit during the summer, so it also seemed like a good way to get to know other interesting people with new points of view.
I created this profile recently, so I don't have reviews yet. If you want to know me better you can always find me on Facebook or instagram though :) @anamione_

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen mostly to rock music (such as Nighwish, Guns n Roses and Metallica) and lots of latin music, such as samba, bossa nova and reggaeton. I like mystery novels and of course sci fi, to keep the nerd levels acceptable. Currently reading Agatha Christie's biography and very much enjoying Game of Thrones and Narcos
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a cultural exchange for a year in a Chicago suburb in the house of a typical American family. Had a great time! Awesome way to finish high school.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I know fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese, so if you're interested in learning those languages I can help! Also, I enjoy making art and have some supplies you can definitely borrow.
