Overview
About Me
I currently live in Strasbourg, France. I am from Greece - where I was born - and studied economics in Paris. I work in research. Except this, I play guitar, I love hiking and mountain, I swim regularly. But my main hobby is to cook! I'm also interested in eastern Asia, and I'm learning Korean.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I found a job at the University of Chicago and I'm going to move by the beginning of October. I need a place to stay for one or two weeks before finding a house for the long-run. I also would like to meet people living in Chicago so this could be a great opportunity !

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm currently reading "Germinal" written by Emile Zola, french writer of the 19th. It depicts the working and social conditions of the poor colliers in Northern France, at the time coal was the fuel of capitalist industrial revolution. Very interesting!
My favorite movie among those I recently watched is "Parasite". From a Korean director. A kind of thriller with amazing direction and actors, and subtle picture of korean social issues.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to hike with a few friends this summer in Corsica, south of France. It was a 9 days hike in the middle of mountains, we were sleeping in tents, walking all the day long with amazing views... One of my best memories :)
