About Me
Hello!
I am a final year law and environmental science student living in Canberra with my boyfriend, who works full time. We have a small 2 bedroom apartment about 10km from the city centre, but well serviced by buses that can take you all around Canberra! We think Canberra has a lot to offer, and would love to show you around our town :)
I love outdoorsy activities, I'm a keen rock climber, but also like hiking, skiing, canyoning and running. Other activities I enjoy: partying, eating, visiting art galleries and walking around old cities :) I'm generally easy-going and up for anything!
I have hosted twice, but the references are in my personal section. One time I hosted with my boyfriend and we did it through his profile, and the other time was a last minute request organised just through messaging.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been trad climbing at Point Perpendicular, NSW. If you've never heard of it, picture a long headland extending out into the ocean, made up of sheer vertical rock faces extending up 100-150m over rocks and crashing waves. Trad climbing is the art of placing your own gear in the rock as you climb up it, and trusting it to hold if you fall. Just you, your belayer, the rock, the crashing waves below, and a few small bits of metal stopping you from falling. The third photo on my profile was taken there, I may be smiling but I was absolutely terrified at the time!
One of the best climbing trips I've been on, and I can't wait to go back!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help with your English and tell you all about Australia. If you wanted to try out rock climbing and there's a gym nearby I am always happy to teach you the basics of this awesome sport :)
I am learning Dutch, and working on my French (which I studied for 7 years in high school but unfortunately have forgotten most of since).
