Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My best experiences so far while traveling is with local people. Couchsurfing look like a good way to met locals all around the world.

Interests

I like to learn and therefore to listen and ask questions about all kind of subjects. I may have a taste for sport but only when it's about seeing amazing landscapes or having fun with other, while respecting nature and culture of the country I'm in. (I wouldn't drive a 4x4 in a forest, but would love to use my foots to discover it)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I honestly can't describe my tastes. I may listen to heavy metal or rap in the morning, go for a bit of '50 during the day and finish with Chopin in the evening.

Books: SF, fantasie, roman.

Movies: As for my tastes in music, I enjoy all kind of movie from the big blockbuster to the small *countryOfYourChoise* production.

Teach, Learn, Share

Besides knowledges in French, philosophy, history, biology, maths, physics or other subject I studied with interest, I can teach you where to find mushrooms around Geneva to do the best dishes. I can teach you a bit of the nature around Geneva, a bit of the cooking from Switzerland.
I can speak about my culture (swiss francophonie). I can speak about how our direct democracy work here in Switzerland.
I may be able to teach you the guitare if you're here enough time, or even informatics and coding if you're into that.

In fact, I understood long time ago that there is no bether way for me to confort my knowledge than transmitting it, and as I love to learn, I'd love to help you confort your knowledge, or confort mine with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

For now, a drink, a tour of the city, a tour of the countryside around Geneva (there are some pretty things to discover) or a bit of the nightlife here.
I have a couch, we can manage something for a couple of days.
