Hi, I'm Juanjo, I'm 37 years old. I'm an Architect and I live and work in Mexico City. Last April I came back to Mexico after an almost 1 year trip into Middle East and Europe, at that time I just took my backpack, mi camera and a drone and I went to travel without a schedule, deciding where to go next with a minimum planning. I meet amazing people and places, I have friends for the rest of my life after that trip. It was a truly adventure, I'll do it again without hesitate.

Hola, soy Juanjo y tengo 37 años. Soy Arquitecto y vivo y trabajo en la Ciudad de México. En Abril 2019 volví al país después de un viaje de casi 1 año, en el cual sólo tomé mi mochila y equipo de fotografía y video y me fui recorrer sin un plan fijo, decidiendo con extremadamente poca anticipación a que lugares llegaría. Conocí personas y lugares que me maravillaron, hice amistades para toda la vida. Fue una verdadera aventura, que sin dudarlo intentaría de nuevo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After living the experience of travel, and have relationships in different places, I was lucky of a lot of people helped me in different ways, but specially (although not via Couchsurfing) offering me a place to sleep; here, I'm trying to reply that help that I had.

Some years ago I hosted someone and it wasn't a good experience, (he took some of my stuff without asking me for, and he went away), but I'm still thinking that it was only a bad experience, and I trust that there's a lot of people that maybe I can give them a hand.

Al haber vivido la experiencia de viajar, y establecer relaciones en distintos lugares, tuve la fortuna de que muchísima gente me ayudó en distintas cosas, pero en especial (aunque no vía Couch surfing) ofreciéndome un espacio para dormir, lo que busco acá, es replicar la ayuda.

Hace unos años hospedé a alguien y no fue una buena experiencia (tomó parte de mis pertenencias sin consultarmelo, y se las llevó), pero creo que fue sólo eso, una mala experiencia, y confío en que hay mucha gente buena vibra que podría encontrarme y apoyar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a Pilgrimage 5 times, on foot, walking from Queretaro to Mexico City, is a trip of around 300 km in 8 days.

Also, one day without thinking a lot, I bought a plane ticket to Beirut, Lebanon and I arrived there 3 days after. (I've been planning a trip to Colombia during 6 months, and then suddenly I change my mind) I'm Juanjo 'Last Minute Decisions' Martínez 🙃.

Viajar en 5 ocaciones, en un peregrinar a pie, desde la Ciudad de Querétaro a la Ciudad de México, en un trayecto de cerca de 300km en 8 días.

Tambien, un día sin pensarlo mucho me compré un boleto a Líbano y llegué allá 3 días después. (había planeado un viaje a Colombia durante 6 meses y así sin más, cambié de idea). Soy Juanjo 'Decisiones de Último Minuto' Martínez 🙃.

I'm an outgoing person, and I like to talk about everything, I can share with you information about my country's history and if we have the chance I can show you also some places in the city, or tell you how to move in to the city.

I think I'm good cooking, so, maybe we can share a meal.

I love to ask about things like "population and total area of your country and city, transport, history and politic" of your place. Sorry, I'm kind of nerdy 🤓😉.
Soy extrovertido y me gusta charlar de todo en general, puedo compartirte datos acerca de la historia de mi país e inclusive si tenemos tiempo, puedo mostrarte lugares en la ciudad; o bien, mostrarte como moverte en ella.

Creo que soy bueno en la cocina, así que podríamos compartir una comida.

Me encanta hacer preguntas como “población total y superficie de tu país, cuanta gente vive en tu ciudad, medios de transporte, historia, politica de tu lugar de origen'. Lo siento, Sony algo nerd 🤓😉.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A couch to sleep, a complete bathroom only for your own, food and drinks, a nice chat and maybe (if I have the chance) I can be your guide in the city.

Un sofá donde dormir, un baño completo, alimento, bebida, buena charla y quizá (si tengo el tiempo) puedo ser su guía en la ciudad.
