About Me

Hallo eyeryone! I'm a newbee on couchsurfing and would like to introduce myself to the world: As simple as it is, I'm just a real normal girl from Germany who loves traveling (what a surprise, ha!) and getting to know all different kinds of people. No matter if you're young or old, calm or crazy or just as normal as me, I like talking to anyone. I like when people have fun without trying to hard and have a good time without being pretentious. I like when people say directly what comes to their minds and how they feel. I like when people move around freely and don't restrict themselves. I like when people love what they do and where they are at, when everything is at ease.

CURRENTLY studying as an Erasmus in beautiful Coimbra, Portugal! So if you pass by, I'm ready to hang out and to host!

Interests

Greek mythology and ancient history are some of my newest interests. Other than that: sports, basically any kind except maybe curling. I love board games (any kind, as long as I win, but don't tell anyone!). Dancing, when I'm comfortable with the situation. Singing, as good as Helge Schneider, or if not known make it Rammstein!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Big names I like: Coldplay, Florence&the Machine, José Gonzalez, Amy Winehouse, Ray Charles, Muddy Waters, Mumford&Sons.
Smaller names I like: Käptn Peng&die Tentakel von Delphi, Zaz, Mighty Oaks, stuff like that.
I also like trashy 90s music because I can sing along!

Books:
Anything which is not too heavy! Some favorite ones: The physician by Noah Gordon, The pillars of the earth by Ken Follett, the German authors Hermann Hesse and Ferdinand von Schirach.
The last one I read and really liked was a biography about Hannah Arendt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once managed to bake a cake. It truly was delicious!
