ABOUT US!

Hi everyone,

We are just a normal couple, unfortunately with abnormal ideas. Somebody can say that our story is very short but for us, every day is full of energy and eventful. We met each other this year in January. In few words:
Two people, Man, and woman. Similar names Karol and his fulfillment KaroLINA. Both in the same event. Taize in Valencia. With completely another tour. One day both of them visit Spanish Aquarium and took a photo together. A few months later she visits his city- Gdańsk and the story lasts until this day.

We have thousands of plans per second. We are very spontaneous people. If any task appears in our heads we just take backpacks and do our best to achieve a goal. We appreciate every moment which is just a chance to make our life unique.

We adore active life. Rollerblades in summer, skiing in winter and we are the happiest people in the world . We also love jogging. It release us. We have got a lot of energy, so every of us does another type of a martial art. Something perfect for men - boxing, and the type of self-defence for sensitive, woman's soul - krav maga.
We really like to taste new kind of physical activity. We had a pleasure to try dancing The Bachata, do Kendo and fight with swords made of plastic pipe! ( in one word it were classes from knighthood. )
Beyond new kind of sport, we are keen on trying new food. We very often combine diverse components on the plate. What is more, we really like cooking.

THE MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR HOSTS

Of course, you can read a long story how we met, how we are, but you still don't know how we will behave in your house,
so let's do this!

Firstly, YOUR RULES ARE HOLY! We promise to respect all your injunctions.
We don't use your toothbrush. We have ourselves and it's enough for us.
And of course any your cosmetics.
We always take off shoes when we enter somebody's home. So your floor and couch are safe.
Do you have any pets? We like pets. Karolina less, cause the only animals she had in childhood were hamsters....
All of them died and she can't heal the wounds until this day.
We don't take your food from a fridge ( despite fresh hamsters).
You don't eat hamsters, do you? Karolina will not survive it.
Do you have any children? It is obvious that we will fell in love with them.
We were always babysitters on family's parties. We love children's sincerity. They always speak directly what they think and see. Nothing will be hidden. What's more, we still have the mentally of kids - we are very creative people and we would like to have inside us until death the children's joy and craziness.
We don't make a mess. We clean up after ourselves. We learned it in our childhood and do this since now.
When we strew toys all over the floor we had to spend all day in the corner.
If such situation will appear you can send us there.
Do you need our help with household duties? Karol loves to take out the rubbish. "It's okay for me, better than cleaning toilet".

Just sensitive soul. Always devoted to people in need.
My dream is to study medicine. I am interested in biology, especially in neurology. I like diversity, challenges, and I am a very flexible person. In my spare time, I like jogging, doing various fitness workout, rollerblading and some time ago I started practicing “krav maga”. I really enjoy the moment when I am completely exhausted and suddenly I feel the power inside me to do more and more. Trainings have shown me that I can easily deal with my weaknesses. They have taught me perseverance and consequences in achieving a goal. I love spending time with people and share a smile with them. For this reason, I am a volunteer in a Social Welfare Home in my town. Work there gives me a lot of satisfaction and enriches me emotionally. I have started to appreciate life and the fact that I can do everything without any health restrictions!

I always enjoy every moment of life that's why I have my own BucketList.
There are not only dreams but also goals cause I think we should improve ourselves day by day :)

To run marathon, learn pulling up the stick, paint a portrait or learn french perfectly!

I am the guy on the right of profile picture. My name is Karol (Yeah, I know in some places in the world this is a name for a woman, but not in Poland :D) You can call me Carlos or just Carl. So if you know how I look like and know my name it is a good time to get more information about me. Here I am.
On this planet, I've lived for 21 years and I hope it will never end.
In everyday life I live, study and work in the 3city near the Baltic sea. I have about 15 minutes by bike to feel really pure air in my lungs so often I use this opportunity.

A big part of my day I spend at Univesity of Technology and I learn something more about Power Energy. I'm trying to reconcile it with being a participant of the organisation called: "Board of European Students of Technology". There I am the Main Organizer of Jobs Fairs at our university. But it isn't all. I am an ambassador of an oil refinery.
While whole year I try to find time to travel because I love to meet new people, new places, new traditions and discover the world. I think the best way to do this is hitchhiking.

My dreams are quite simple:

I would like to swim by waterfall, run marathon, get drunk with cheap wines and sing "champs Elyssees" on Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, to take part in "ironman" (runmagedon) and until death to jump into puddles with my grilfriend like kids, to raise a son, change somebody's life, help somebody in need( not only once but all my life) and meet an unique person who would like to make with me a happy family. For now, everything goes on :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

WE ARE JUST BEGINNERS OF COUCHSURFING.
Despite it we love the idea cause our life is a trip.
We are sensitive people who never walk by the person in need. The main goal of our trips is to meet new people, culture and open our eyes to another point of views. We are convinced that Couchsurfing is a perfect way to broaden our horizons and make our dreams about travelling come true.

One sunny day, somewhere while SlotArt Festival we wanted just to get out of the heat and finally we swam across Odra River only to sunbathe on the beach on the opposite riverbank !^^
