About Me

Hi,

First off this profile is for two people...the ones you see in the photo :-) We are a young (compared to the universe :-)) married couple who are avid travellers and forever seeking knowledge of all kind. I myself (the bald one) work in a university as a physical chemist and I (the short one) am currently studying for a masters in political philosophy.

We have recently come to the realisation that burying one's face in a book or 'travelling' for only 15 days out of the year is no longer an ideal life for us. We decided to do something about it and it was the short one who come up with the idea of travelling the world forever...if possible! :-). It will take some time to put our plan in action in the meanwhile we thought it would be good to build up contacts on couchsurfing and benefit from the experience of those who are already living the dream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have done our homework and now know there are so many travellers who used couchsurfing and are very pleased with their experiences...something we'd definitely like to be a part of.

For the next three years (before we set off for the world) we would like to host travellers in our flat and hear/share your experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of anything that has a good beat or deep lyrics. You can catch me listening to anything from Erik Satie's Gymnopédies No.1 to Tupac's Hit Em Up.

As regards films - i would say psychological thrillers are my favourite. Films such as fight club, interstellar, her, shutter island, whiplash, ex machina...you know those films that get you thinking!

The books i'm into are educational, religious, scientific and philosophical.
