I am a Peruvian who grew up in Trujillo, Peru. At 16 I went to study Industrial Engineering in the U.S.A. and lived there until I was 24, during school I also did a study abroad in Brazil for 6 months. On January, 2016, I made a 6 months backpacking trip with my brother through Latin America, from Mexico to the southern tip of Argentina (Cuba included). Now I will be living in Beijing, China, with the objective of learning Chinese.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet new people, and share experiences on routes and trips. I am planning on doing a route through Asia on 2017 and hopefully one through Africa in 3 years, I also want to go to Antartica on my 30th birthday.

I am also looking for Chinese Language partners since I will be living in China for a few years. Planning on having my home available once I get an apt in Beijing.

I really like all kinds of music, and really enjoy dancing, particularly Salsa and Latin music. I also enjoy listening to Reggae.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1)Waited two days at the door of Uruguayan president Jose Mujica, and was able to meet him and talk to him for one hour.
2)Backpacked through Latin America for 6 months.
3) Now moving to China to learn Chinese.
