Hi, my name is Lorenz and I am an 18 year old student from Berlin. I originally come from a small town called Heidenau close to Dresden in the former eastern Germany.
So, I just finished school and now I am looking for an adventure or at least for a chance to see the world. I love meeting new people and I am kind of fast with making new friends. I love to talk and to hear the craziest stories from others. But after some hour I do also enjoy talking about the deep shit - love, politics, sense of live.
I have no God or so but I really like talking about religion. If you have a passion for something I would be happy if you could share. I easily get enthusiastic about anything new, let it be a new TV show, juggling, sports, music ...
In fact I love everything thats keeps my away from my smartphone and that makes me happy. Last I love laughing (well who doesn't) and it would be great to share that. Don't worry for me it is not at all hard to find a reason to laugh :P

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I have no money. This is what makes travelling attractive in my eyes. I want to experience an older, romantic, down to earth kind of travelling. I feel no longing for travelling by plane, sleeping in 5 star hotels and eating in restaurants. I like to travel by foot and hitchhiking. In my eyes it is important to get in touch with the nature and the real people of a country and not with it's tourist attractions and tourists. Couchsurfing fits perfect to this. It is a great way to not only live like l normal people (that could also be air bnb) but also live their lives. Travelling should not be like going to a zoo ;-)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Bon Iver, U2, MGMT, Bob Dylan, cat stevens, german rap, 80s music and so many personal one hit wonders.
Interstellar, fight club, forrest gump, en solitaire are the first ones that come to my mind. I also like to watch documentaries. (+ fell in love with how i met your mother)
I hate reading. I once read uncle tom's cabin. It was ok which does not mean that I don't like literature. I enjoy audibooks, mostly comedy. I recently listened Ken Follet and Dan Brown.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

-I lived in a boarding for 6 years which was an incredible time. This is where I met the best friends ever (maybe you just need to share your room to find friends ;) ) and learned so much for myself.
-I trained lucid dreaming

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

To be honest I don't think I can teach you a lot (maybe some german and juggling). But in my eyes it is more about sharing: sharing your lives, your meal, your stories. I you want to, we can also share thoughts about very complicated or personal topics. In my live I did always benefit from hearing different perspectives .
One thing many people are interested in is Germany history. I am very good at that. Additionally my whole family grew up in the former East-Germany so I have lots of second-hand knowledge on this.

Well things start to repeat a bit... I will share everything I know and half of what I can afford financially with you. Everybody I meet is invited to come visit me in Germany!
