About Me

I'm in the final year of architecture at Colombia's National University, is a public school, with one of its headquarters in Manizales Caldas, a pretty little city full with colonial architecture and coffe.
I love traveling and trying new things, food, activities, and meet new people. That competes alot with me being a stay home person hahahah, but i know how to cook for big groups of people, and how to talk when someone is visiting. I also like throwing parties and hosting people, i think is fun having happy and interesting people at home.
Ussually i spend my free time watching movies, painting, or talking with my rommates. I have a weird sense of humor, love the spooky things, cooking, and long walks on the beach...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like I already said, I love having people in my house, talk about some cool places of the city i love, and taking care of others. My house is big, and i think it'll be comfortable for people traveling 'cause is close of the nicest part of the city.
Oh! and lets not forget the benefits. I think it's nice to know new people, get to learn about their culture and share travel experiences, as well as having someone who's willing to share some of their space with me when i'm out traveling. Reciprocity, and kindness is what's gonna make us a little better :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I went to Europe with 5 of my closest friends; 12 hours in a plane, first time traveling so far from home. In Italy we manage to visit Florence, Rome, Pisa, Siena, Nápoles, Sorrento and Bologna, plus Barcelona and Madrid, all in 30 days. I lost my cellphone, and a train; I ran around Rome trying to see everything in a day; I felt in love with Gelato, Got emotional at Pompey, learned about false stereotypes and how to defeat them; I also found some new friends, some new food, and some new craving for traveling. I found myself? Lets say I'm working on it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a degree in freehand and computer technical drawing.I love to draw, paint and take pictures of landscapes, buildings and people.
When I'm asked about my education, I usually include the afternoons that I used to spend with my grandma, cooking, sewing and taking care of the flowers, vegetables and chickens we had in the back yard. And I also mention that I'm teaching myself to build furniture, so thats what i could teach and share, besides of my stories and traveling experiences, my house and some of my joy.
about learning... I wanna learn everything, about culture, history, new abilities, I want to know how the world works, out of my own world .
