Music, Movies, and Books
I absolutely love to listen & play 60's/70s Rock/Folk/Blues, World Music and a bit of everything else! Guitar and piano jazz is a real treat, too
When it comes to movies, I like everything that's either full of tension (e.g. Wild Tales, Guy Ritchie's films), funny (Monty Python's stuff) or mind-expanding (the discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie, Pan's Labyrint, the Prestige). Same goes for books basically :) Borges' Ficciones are the first thing that comes to mind
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being on the road for so long that it becomes your home is probably the greatest form of freedom I've ever witnessed. Writing a novel is definitely a great experience, in the way that it both unleashes and structures your thinking
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach me about your language, your identity, the places you belong to :) I'm keen on doing the same
What I Can Share with Hosts
Given my kitchen skills, it's probably best for all of us if I don't cook for you, but I'd be happy to invite you to a coffee/ a beer to say thank you! And if you need a helping hand with anything, I'll be there. I also play the guitar and accumulated some stories over the years so I might be entertaining you that way, too ;) also, if you're down for philosophical discussions or absurd conversations over hand-rolled cigarettes in the late evening hours, I might just be your guy
