About Me
About me... I use to be a social worker in Paris and I decided to quit everything to discover our beautiful world!
One day I just thought "life is to short ,soooo go!go!go!" and I left Paris for Melbourne!
I think I'm dynamic, easy going, friendly , funny ( but you know about french humor ;)...). I'm tidy, clean and respectful.
I practice sports, I read a looooooot! I like to create, to do things on my own. I do music ( piano and ukulele)... and so much more!
I like to travel with a working holiday visa, I think it's the best way to discover completely a country. In Australia I worked as a farm worker, waitress and seller!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to learn, discover, share and meet new people. I think it's so precious.
I already traveled 2 years in Australia and my experience was just amazing because I met local people! so I'm on Coushsurfing which is the best application for!
Each country has is own culture and atmosphere. Who's the best to make you understand that? Local people of course!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On day, I walked in The Grand Canyon, I remember well this day... after few hours I tried to find a safe place to wee.... It was an emergency of course. I started to climb a bit but I felt on.... wait for it... a cactus!!! Nice! My leg was full of spikes and so painful! my friend helped me to get down and tried to remove some spikes but... some of them were to deep inside my skin. And suddenly a man came, he took my leg and started to use the hook of his water bottle to remove an another spike, he just said " I'm a surgeon", he succeed... It was just crazy. A ranger came, asking my name and telling me to walk back, and I did walk during 4 hours with my leg shaking... We met few rangers on the way back "you're Coline? don't worry someone's waiting for you at the top and will drive you to the closest hospital" As they said I was driven to the hospital and this really nice ranger followed me in the operating room, squeezing my hand "I'm here Coline, you're so brave"... The surgery was hilarious... the surgeon couldn't find the last spike so he put his finger under my skin trying to feel it! At the end all the spikes were removed, he sewn me 7 stitches...
and you know what? I completely forgot that I still needed to wee!
This story is still haunting me, my friends and my family sometime offer me a cactus for my birthday or Christmas... the craziest experience in my life.
At the end, I just wanted to wee!
