Hiya! My name is Ruben and I'm a 30 year traveler from Utrecht. I've been on the road quite a bit all over Europe the last couple of years, the rest of the world is next! Going new places or seeing old friends, traveling extensively is one of the most important things in my life.

I consider myself openminded, not overly talkative (but not shy) and creative. I spend a lot of time going to clubs, festivals and generally listening to (electronic) music and watching movies. I'm a omnivore when it comes to movies, I watch anything from the densest indie flick to the latest popcorn superhero blockbuster.

I am currently living with 1 on/off roommate (my sister, Alana, she is on couch surfing too so if I don't reply asap you could contact her) and my dog (a husky). If they are cool with you, I am too! We cook vegan most of the time but you don't have to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people from and in new places. Now that I have the space and can host I'd like to start doing so! I haven't had any surfers over at my apartment yet but I have plenty of experience hosting my (international) friends.
