Hi guys, my name is Anderson, I am a 23-years-old Brazilian guy who loves neuroscience. I am a medical student from Recife, Brazil. I had lived in Reno, Nevada for one year as an exchange student and in Duhram, NC for 3 months where I worked as a research assistant in a neuroengineering lab.

My friends say that I'm very friendly and funny, also I'm very communicative. One of the things that I like to do the most is learning. It doesn't matter what, from cooking to perform surgeries. My goal is to be a pediatric neurosurgeon and work as a researcher here in USA. But not just that, I also want to learn and experience different cultures as more as I can. The world is so big to think so small, isn't it?

I like to know new people and learn from them, to know they life stories, to know the things that happened in their lives, simply knowing them. Languages are one of my passions, the other is brains.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am getting to know new people and places. Different cultures always are exciting. For me knowing new cultures and languages is the most exciting thing ever and couchsurfing is a criative and incredible way to do it. I've never had any experience with couchsurfing but my house is a place where my friends always go to have a good conversation and have fun. I can imagine how great couchsurfing is and now I want to experience it.

Well, I really like rock n' roll, but not just that, also experimental, jazz, soul, progressive rock, classical music, heavy metal, symphonic rock. If you like some of these artists probably I will like you: Iron maiden, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, Tchaikovsky, Bach, Tartini, Daft Punk.

I read so much, so probably everytime that you see me I will be reading something. Favorite books and authors: Oliver Sacks, Carl Sagan, Tolken.

Movies that I love: Awakening, V for vendetta, Gifted Hands.
