I'm Michelle, 20 years old from Belgium. I'm studying my second year physiotherapy in Ghent :) During my free time i'm mostly playing music (Saxophone, violin, piano,..) practising sports ( swimming, skating, surfing and snowboarding) or making friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard so much about couchsurfing and alot of friends have had some unforgettable experiences so i decided to give it a try
I believe this type of travel is the best opportunity to connect with the locals and learn more about their culture in a non-touristic way :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Growing up in a musical family i started playing the violin on an early age, later on i started with saxophone. And i learned the basics on guitar and piano.
My sibling and both my parents play an instrument so i'm used to hear a lot of different instruments in the house all day long :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saved a dummy from drowing and performed cpr during my lifeguard/first aid exam :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm eager to learn new things and my interest are very different. From cooking the local dish, hiking trough the nature of your country, (try) to learn the native language,..
I love being busy so if you need help in any way i'd try my best to lend a helping hand wherever possible; feeding animals, help in the garden, help in a hostel,..
I'm a selftought juggler so maybe i can learn you some tricks :D
