About Me

Hi, My name is Sára (Sarah) and I am a young girl from the Czech Republic. Czech Republic is divided into 3 parts (Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia, and I come from Moravia, which is famous for wine (and other alcohol), folklor, traditions and so on. I live in a village and my father is a winemaker - I love this life. I would say, I am open-minded, cheerfull and positive :) I love to spend time with nice people and one of my passions is to learn new things. I study a lot and I like it. Now I am studying at University in Prague. It"s the Third Faculty of Medicine - Charles University. Medicine is very interesting, but I love to study also many other things. Like culture, new people, new experiences, I just want to live a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

That"s why I did acount in couchsurfing. This is quite easy way how to meet new people and how to spend few days in a country in the best possible way. I am also proud that I live where I live, and I love to share my experiences, our traditions...and so on.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer books to films. If I would have to choose some film, it would be Untouchables - for sure. I love this film. I like books from Paulo Coelho - Alchymists, Veronica decides to die... but I read just during holidays, cause during a year I have to read medicine books. I love music so much. Singing, dancing, or just listening. I listen many kinds of music - electroswing, Michael Jackson, Ed Sheeran, Boogie and Wonderland, Rend Collective... and sometimes I also enjoy listening some of our great componist like Vivaldi or Mozart. I also play an instrument. For a 13 years I have been playing piano. For a 7 years I have been playing a dulcimer. And at home I learn to play guitar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I have to choose someting, I would probably choose this: I have spent 4 moths in Austria instead of going to school. Isn't it fun? :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't use your mobile a lot, it's much better to ask someone to find the right way. You can meet nice people.
If you decide to do something, do it properly, with all your heart, passion and try to do your best. If you are not trying with all your heart - it's not worth to do it at all.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well. I feel that it has to be quite tough to share flat with so many strangers. I Appreciate everyone who hosts foreigners from other countries. It's so nice from you, hosts! That's why I want to pay back in the best possible way. I want to share my experiences from Czech Republic, from our wine area. I can cook and bake so I would love to show my host what we eat in Czech Republic. I want also to teach you everything about wine - because I have it at home - and I also work in a wine shop in Prague. Wine for tasting would be of course from my resource.
I think that we can have very nice time with all that wine and food, don't you think?
