I am a medical student from Spain, my homeland and the country where I've lived and studied most part of my life. Even though my mother is from France so we could say that I have a mixed culture as well as 2 native tongues. As a medical student I can apply to many grants in order to study or do some training abroad. With 21 years I decided to apply for an exchange in Kazan (Russia) for first time. It was then when I've realised how much I was opening my mind and learning from the others while living abroad. Since then I've been travelling and applying for exchanges and practices as much as the circunstances allows me. The best part of living abroad was for sure to share and learn from others cultures and different points of views so that I always try while travelling not just to visit the monuments but also to have a chat and try to immerse myself in the culture of the place I am. That's why couchsurfing is such a great opportunity for me.

Travelling, meeting new people with their own cultures, not just doing commercial travelling, sharing experiences...is there any reason for not doing it?
In addition I would like to say that I consider myself a very flexible person and I will be grateful to anyone who will try to help me specially by hosting, doesn't matter how, I am really easy going :)
