Overview
About Me
My name is Jule and I am a student from Weimar, a small place in the middle of germany. This fall semester I am doing an exchange semester in Torino, Italy. I am looking forward to living in a exciting new country and meeting new people every day! I got to know couchsurfing when I was travelling Canada for almost a year in 2016/17 and met wonderful people on my way.
I am a very open and friendly person who likes to get to know different cultures and ways of life. I am easygoing and me and my backpack don't take up much room :)
In my free time I like to be creative, like sewing or painting, I like to cook and bake, but most importantly, I love to dance. Also I spent as much time as possible outside, e.g. go on hikes, cycle, watch the stars and enjoy nature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great way to get in touch with locals and travellers from around the globe. It's about sharing, not only taking (like a bookshelf in hostels). That's why as a guest I try to share my skills (I make nice cinnamon buns called Franzbrötchen, a specialty from Hamburg!) and help in the house.
I also like sharing and listening to stories and experiences which is a very important part of traveling for me.
