I'm Marina willing to travel around and meet you all!

I'm an easy-going person, empathetic, curious and very hard-working, I never leave something undone.

I've always enjoyed travelling and getting to know cultures. As soon as I have some money and time I pack my bag and leave. Therefore learning new languages, food, traditions and meeting different people is my main hobbies.

In my free time I go hiking, enjoy scuba diving, skiing... and in general, sports that involve nature. Reading, going to concerts or art museums are some of my favourite things to do.

Apart from that, I do voluntary work in Barcelona with children at risk of exclusion. This is undoubtedly, one of the most fulfilling activities I do.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

The summer I turned 18, I went backpacking in Euskadi, in the north of Spain, there I met the most wonderful people that disinterestedly shared thier houses, vans, squatter houses or just a beer in a bar. I got to know their culture from the inside and had an amazing time traveling this way.

I realised that when you travel to a country the typical way, you don't actually get a real insight from the country if you don't mix with local people.
So I expect to host you or at least be your guide in my city, and maybe be able to travel to your country.

Música, películas y libros

I'm a real bookworm, I read everything, now I mainly read academia but still have time for novels though!

On the other hand, I'm addicted to music, I'm really into hard rock , indie rock whatever that is, post-punk and reggae although I also like punk, folk, classic rock n' roll... However I'm very interested in different genres of less popular music.

I like very different kinds of films as long as they are not very hetero-romantic/dramatic/disgusting I can watch it!

Any of my hobbies, but above all, I enjoy a lot learning and teaching languages. In fact, I am an English teacher in Barcelona. I'm a quick learner and probably I'm interested in your hobbies.
