Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I Travel! In het Netherlands and outside the Netherlands. I like to meet new people, and the ultimate goal is to stay at there place. Happened two times when I was hitchhicking with a good friend in Findland and Sweden. Met someone asked to stay at there place and it worked. So for me couchsurfing is a good way to meet people and sharing life by staying at there place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music. I listen to music a lot. Music for me is emotion. It gives me goosebumps sometimes. I most like classical music. The old classic and the modern classic. Think about names like Max Richter, Einaudi, Avro Part. Sufjan Stevens is one of me alltime favorite artist. His music for me is pure emotion even when its diffucult to listen to sometimes. The intersteller soundtrack one of my favorite soundtrackes of the past years.
Movies. I watched a lot of movies the past 10 years. For me movies are a way to meet with friends and enjoy a good story. Favorites are Interstellar (most beautiful soundtrack more like an experience kind of movie) , into the wild, 12 angry man etc. For me its a challange to watch for movies that aren't hollywood and still very good. The raid, confessions, man from nowhere etc.
Books. I don't read a lot of books. When I do read a book its because its the game of thrones series or its a book with a story that triggers me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing? This is one thing/trip I liked a lot. I did a mountainbike trip to Morroco with a group of 12 when I was 20 years old. this trip was amazing because I didn't expect Morroco to be so beautiful. The trip was a 8 day trip through the middle atlas mountains, very nice! We met with locals ,made music and I danced with the locals and we ate with them, that was one of the most amazing things to experience, be with total strangers in an foreign country and still have diner with them and play music!
