It's Berrak. I live in İstanbul, Turkey and study law in İstanbul University.

Since I was a little kid i'm into fine arts. I always enjoyed creating some stuff such as drawing, painting and hand crafts. And last couple of years I'm enjoying writing so much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to embrace new tastes, cultures and friends! I find it inspiring meeting new people and help as much as i can. Travel all around nature and see history . And i want to do it as a local person not a tourist. I guess best way for this is meeting local people :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock, blues, stoner, grunge and classical music, i guess especially i am into 90's alternative rock. I love Radiohead, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, RHCP, White Stripes, Pearl Jam.

I really enjoy watching a good movie. My favourites are Trainspotting, Where The Wild Things Are, The Prestige, Before Sunrise, We Need To Talk About Kevin...

I both love reading and writing, i believe that these are connected. I enjoy reading Dostoyevski, Camus, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Orhan Pamuk, Sabahattin Ali.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess this is the journey which i am continuing right now. Also i believe power of creation, so writing and paiting also makes me feel amazing :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to teach Turkish words and share food recipes if you're interested :) Also it would be amazing to learn a new language, musical instrument, foods and must-visit places in the city or country and share a nice conversation or time :)
