About Me
- CERINA -
I grew up in a small town, headed to the 'big' city to study, wanted to see more of the world and am now addicted to travelling this beautiful planet we live on.
I am a very easy going person who loves to be surrounded by sociable, humorous people.
In 2015 I went on my first trip to Central America with a loooong list of things I wanted to see. I told my friends and family that I would probably head home after 3 months and 3 countries. After 3 weeks, however, I already decided to throw the list in the bin and just keep going untill the wanderlust would settle down. It didn't really, but after half a year the money did ;).
Now, I am ready again to explore the rest of the Spanish colonial countries which I fell in love with.
2/17 I am currently in Mexico with a friend from back home and plan tot stay here two more months.

I love to be in the water so I swim a lot at home, but I also love to go on surf holidays. Since this year I have been practicing pilates which is a super sport to kindly strengthen your body but oddly enough I also used to enjoy punching the hell out of a bag during my boxing lessons. Besides these sports I really enjoy inline skating in summer and ice skating in winter.
Apart from all this, I mostly hang out with my friends; having dinner or drinks in the park or in a cafe and chatting about everday life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
They say "it's the people you meet that make travelling so great". I agree, but I do not only want to be seeing the same backpackers on the trail, but also meet the people who live in the county that I am visiting. Be amongst the residents who can show you their favourite spots which are not in the books, learn you how to cook a traditional dish and make you feel like you have been living in that place for ages eventhough it was only a couple of days.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My endless energy, my favourite dishes and of course I can teach you Dutch.
