About Me
Hi there!
I am Debby! An openminded, free spirited people person with a big love for nature. Priorities in my life are the environment, veganism and meeting passionate, like minded people with a beautiful personality and a big, kind heart! I am also very passionate about living in the now, about connection with your own body and soul. I meditate and practice yoga on a daily basis to connect with my inner self, with my energy. I am also a very healthy person that likes to eat only what is necessary to maintain healthy, I oppose waste and overconsuming.
When it comes to consuming or owning stuff, less is more! I own a little more then what is necessary and I do not own much technology.
I do own an oldskool soundsystem, since I am a huge music lover and would love to learn to know new music, every single day! I am also a big fan of art and sports.
I sport a lot! Currently I am learning how to climb, I run every week, cycle every week, I own my own longboard and snowboard and some fitness stuff. And like I already said, I also practice yoga on a daily basis. My house is basically a gym haha.
I am also a very good listener and someone who is always willing to learn and grow. Life is about love, balance, respect and positivity. Everything can be a lesson, when you are willing to learn. I like a real connection with people, sharing experiences and stories.
Besides that I have two furry catfriends living in a small house with me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I already had some experiences with it myself! I went couchsurfing with my best friend in Paris and Rome, and w had such a wonderful time that I decided to open up to the idea and give back the kindness and love I have received because of couchsurfing.
It is also a great opportunity to learn and meet new positive people, new cultures, ideas, visions and to gather true knowledge.

I can show you some of Ghent, I can offer you a warm place to stay, a smile, stories and help with whatever needed.
And also the company of two weird cats! One of them, the black one called Dino, is a little shy.. he likes calm people and will come to you when you let him.
