I am a freelance scuba instructor based on the north of Coron town, Busuanga Island, Palawan where it is less touristy, quiet and remote. I love nature that is why I use my profession to raise environmental awareness in many ways possible. The underwater world is a place I love to visit and especially show to others. This way they appreciate how important it is to preserve and protect not only the ocean but the whole environment we live in as a whole because we are all connected in one way or another...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to share my space with budget travellers around the world and learn from their experiences as well. I know that couch surfers are the sort of travellers that is likely to have the same wavelength as me so it would be nice to get to know interesting personalities. As I am a scuba instructor, I would like to take the opportunity to teach couch surfers to scuba on a budget they can afford. Where I live in the island is a little paradise not a lot of visitors get to see when they visit the island because they tend to stay in the town centre where everything is crowded and noisy. My side of the island is a relaxing place, and it's not difficult to get to with the new roads being built - you can reach Maricaban roughly an hour via motorbike or via public jeepney that leaves from Coron town market everyday between 10-11am...
