Ciao ciao!

I am born and raised in Rotterdam, a city which I get to appreciate more and more. But I get still excited about exploring new places and observing new cultures!
My love for exploring the world started when I was 18 and went to South East Asia.

From September 2022 on, my boyfriend and I are travelling on our bikes for an indefinite time. We left our comfortable home and jobs to embark on this adventure, a dream come true! Back home, I worked on reducing the plastic (pollution) problem and Joost worked on accelerating the energy transition. We both love outdoor sports (surfing, bouldering, hiking) and like to be outside and meet new people. We both care greatly about nature and preserving the world around us, and feel that cycling is the best way to enjoy the beauty in the world while holding on to these ideals.

In the past 2+ years we have cycled through Europe, Morocco, crossed the Atlantic ocean by sailboat and are since March cycling in South America. We also worked at several Workaway projects. Along the way we already met lovely people and saw amazing places. We are happy to meet many more people and continue discovering beautiful new places along the way. We hope you will be part of our adventure!
